Nam Nga destroyed bridge just after rainy season, great use of resources with the new bamboo bridge.

Pounce, you found some very interesting trails, I am most interested to hear about the ride from Nale to Oudomxai! the track along the Houay Heng ?

**These two bridges were damaged in the same flood, and are about 50+ ks apart, on the same river.

I have never seen a bike on a speedboat standing upright! Looks like you have it tied down well. Must have been a very exciting ride! Especially with the propane tank next to the speedboat engine!!!

Hey Don,
I didn't take that route. I went further north to Ban Hatto then across that way.
All will be revealed when I get the report finished.

I asked if he'ld lay the bike on its side but he just waved me away & shook his head.

Great thread, from someone who won't go much worse then a makeshift bridge like this, upcountry south of Mae Sarieng,

I did not take my turn, at "92 meters of Fun" until I saw several scooters try it and live!

-Alex --very nice bridge pictures too.

This sure looks like fun. Do you have the GPS cordinates?

Pounce - I showed Lan (who you rented the bike from) this photo yesterday, his eyes went pretty big & said "now i Know why the plastics were scratched"!

They were pretty good looking out for that getting it in there, don't think they did any damage. I can fix him up with some cash if he's at all pissed, let me know.
The scratches must be from all the chicken feet sliding down the side of the bike. The bastards just don't get out of your way.
