One of the older restaurants in town and still good but unfortunately it seems to have its ups and downs. Our dinner there was good with good service. The Sooksavan Savannakhet Cafe and Restaurant

The Sooksavan Savannakhet opens late afternoon and is one of the "in" places at the moment for dinner, drinks, meeting friends and enjoying the live music. Lin's Cafe has moved

Lin's cafe - a very nice place for breakfast with home made bread, lunch, dinner as well as coffee and very nice cakes has moved to a new place which is 2 roads to the west of the old location. The new place is at the corner of the Thalat Yen Plaza (Night market - junction of Phetsalath Rd. and Simuang Rd.)
