Road 1 D update,
The recent heavy rains have made the Nam Xan impassable however there are small boats to take you across.
However the temporary bridge at the Nam Hong has washed out and currently no boat or ferry.
This is 43 Ks South East of the Nam Mang at B Thasi.
The Good news is the famous ford, (100 meters) at the Nam Mouan is no longer necessary, the bridge is open to traffic at Ban Chomtheng.
Clear sailing from here to Road 8, all sealed.
The only North South Dirt link is now paved.
