More trail links from Omkoi to B. Sop Khong / R 105

With not much fuel to spare, we make it out the other side

Some spanking afternoon views from the other side too

The next day we thought we'd do something different and explore some new trails around the rivers (I think we now have 7 ways through from Omkoi/ R 1099 through to R 105)

Ban Tha Song Yang is a quaint old Karen village really worth stopping at

All fueled up in the village, then off into the unknown again

All pretty clean here, no plastics littering the place

Dave goes to look to see if there's an easier way across. Nasty big round rocks and fast flowing doesn't make for an easy motorcycle crossing

This was only a walking footbridge

Near the footbridge seems the best crossing, a quick test

The locals tell us that the trail only leads to a school and ends, so we decide to give it a miss. It looks like we can loop back a different way, so we give it a shot.
