]IMG_9418.JPG[/attachment:2tg89u80] If you are lucky you can see sparrows around the entrance of the cave

After the cave we headed off to Pai and we not surprised to see that the heavens opened up again, my breaks failed again so the ride turned out to be an interesting one. . Pai is a great place for the night. During the course of the evening entertainment we met up with Grant who I had not seen since Bangkok who suggested we head up to the tea plantations.
So in the morning it was a visit to the cake shop (Pai has loads of them ) and then hit the road.

It was our coldest ride so far 21C, we stopped of at one of the check points to warm up
we stopped of at one of the check points to warm up before making a side trip to the hot springs.
before making a side trip to the hot springs.
The ride up to Thaton was nice with its long sweeping bends. It made a change from the tight ones we had been doing for the last few days.
As always we stopped for our mandatory coffee break and managed to sample some of the local delights…. this time it was passion fruit.
