Great to be here and itchin' to head out on a hire bike for Pai, Mae Hong Son etc. I can head out alone........but I'd rather ride with locals. I'm having a cold one at Riders Corner some days. PM me if you want to ride.

I thougt that maybe one fearless -man -of -action would be up for riding but no, just a bunch of cheese eating continentals. :phil

It's the Dream 110 and me to the Samueng loop.
 
Go find a rental shop like the one run by Lan (I think CM rentals, maybe?)

Ask him to charge you extra to fit proper tires to a KLX.

Rent a GPS with North Thailand GPS map from Rider's Corner and just start following tracks up around Doi Suthep, Samoeng, etc. Keep going until you run out of time. You'll be fine going solo.

Once more around the loop today, this time clockwise. Back to ol' US tomorrow - I'll miss this place. Thanks for the tips, and it was gold to meet the.slash at Phil's corner pub.
