I know, I know, the Nouvo 135 is not a BIG BIKE, but I have a question and maybe someone has an answer...
I have a 09 model with 35K km on it and am considering buying a brand new 09 model from the local Yammie dealer for 55K baht. I like the bike and it's one of the last bikes with a carb; it also has 16" rims and I like the styling. No way I'll spend 80 K on a new PCX150!
Anyways, I thought I could fiddle a bit with the older one I have. The emission plumbing has always bothered me and I am thinking of finally taking it off. It's a hose that comes from a metal snorkel out of the muffler, then goes to some kind of pump and there are more hoses, at least one, as far as I can see. Taking that stuff off should make the engine breathe a little better.
I did that on my XR650L and it improved the rideability quite a bit.
Has anybody done this and can recommend it? Anything I need before I start pulling that stuff off?
