[The Bigfella]

I was enjoying a chat with a couple of the customers in the bar at Rider's Corner yesterday when a few furry friends came to visit the shrine at the far end of the garden.

I shot them, hand-held at 3,000mm lens extension... so not as clear as I'd like... but it was nice to see them. A family of Chinese tourists with a delightful young chap with them loved the show... as did another table of Aussies who were enjoying their lunch and taking respite from the smoky air.

First up, the grey

Delightful, especially to see the red checking out the Spirit House offerings.
Yep, it was a nice sanctuary during another yucky, smokey day.

And Ian + Khun Tum have the best Khao Soi I have tasted in Chiang Mai. Recommend. ข้าวซอย

Gee, thanks mate... I think we're blushing. We've put a bit of effort in to get things happening. The Khao Soi was one of Tum's new additions to the menu... and there will be more. We're taking advantage of the quieter season for a lot of additional upgrades. Exciting stuff, like new toilets, tables and so on.

Meanwhile... back on topic...... how about a water skipper. Taken during a break on a "no alcohol" day.

Same day. Everyone seemed to like crawling up King Kong's bum.....
