Enough of the Samoeng loop and was time to give the Ducati a better test around the Wiang Haeng Loop. A good mix of twisties and off-road action.
Arrived at the beginning of the loop shortly after 09:00hrs
Shortly after turning onto the dirt section the heavens openned for 10 minutes and provided lots of rut rivers which made things more exciting!
Made it through back onto tarmac without much fuss. Impressed with the way the bike handled the dirt in enduro mode. Was a wee bit skeptical at first of its ability but it didn't take much doing to install some confidence.
The usual nice views around the loop
No idea what there saying to one another!
I ran out of gas here, 500m shy of a gas station and 2Km from the guest house. The range from the computer indicated "zero" and 1Km after that it died, so maybe take notice of that next time
Both The Nest guests houses/resorts were fully booked so ended up staying at the Chiang Dao Marisa Resort. Nice place but the double room rate was 1,500Baht compared to 600Baht at The Nest. Need to book the Nest well in advance for the next time. Amazing how this place is busy even in the low season.
I never chose the wardrobe for the trip

A weird tree thingy!
Had the "Marisa Special Chicken" - was awright. Difficult to forget about what was on offer a short distance away at the nest.
And time for some cleaning
PS Ally - Inserting pictures seems to be working a treat now. No more waiting for ages until it inserts - awesome job.
