Visa run help please??

My 30 days runs out on 10th and my passport with 1 year multi entry O visa is still missing in transit after 16 days international courier but the thai postal system reckon its a 30 day delivery and UK say 14 days ???,, might arrive soon but who knows ??? ,,,so what are my options cross border on my ducati to Cambodia or laos and come back after a few days ,, or fly out the country to somewhere ,,

I am not happy because its the Thai embassy in london that mislaid my passport with the visa in ,, and immigration in pattaya are being unhelpful..as are british embassy who say its not their problem unless i report the passport missing ????

i have not needed to do a visa run in years so im niot certain what the current situation is ??

Thai immigration have actually come up trumps and extended my stay another 30 days ,, still not sure where the passport is ,, probably in the main Laksi mail centre in BKK,, now I can go on a long road trip...on my ducati..
