Jb called me up & asked if fancied a ride, I promise I won’t make you hike. Yeah right! Jb & a ride are synonymous with the word ‘hike’.
First of all we took in the view from Wat Tak Baht near Ban Thi. Great views on a fine morning.

Next we visited Lanna Airfield.

Jb fancied a burn out down the strip but I gave hime one of my looks !
Next it was off to Chae Son & the Flight of the gibbon road, to firstly experience a slippy slidy bike on the damp and moss covered concrete steep inclines and then a visit to the coffee shop looking over gibbon land.
After a delightful couple of cakes & coffee, we rode further up to the Lampang border and parked the bikes at the ranger station there.

Yes we then hiked up the mountain to Kew Fin, a view point which enabled us to look east & west & with glorious visibility, the views were fantastic.

The dogs came too, Jb managed to de-tick the mother dog (what a lovely dog)

Jb explained the track went further & he was keen to investigate it … on the Lifan.

We headed back to civilisation & reality

On the return route we stopped off at Maekampong Waterfall

& Jb took the piss!

You can see a couple more pics & the map here ...
