The route 1016, Unknown 4004 4010
Total distance 96 km
The Riders
Steve Kawasaki KLX 250
Captain_Slash Kawasaki KLX 250
Steve turned up this morning and off we went to ride some offroad tracks
It was a quiet ride through here with plenty of birds about
We happened across a local stuck in the mud, we pulled him out then decided to follow him on a s detour rather than get stuck ourselves
A pleasant detour through this field
Back on asphalt for a while
Steve informs me that we are going to ride up there, oh well no problem that looks easy
The view from near the top of what was an anything but easy climb, 1st gear in places, very steep, rocky plus a loose surface thrown in for good measure.
I wasnt really looking forward to riding back down and thankfully we didnt have to as the track carried on over the other side
An idea of what its like
Looking back down from where we have just rode up
At the top and a very dilapidated looking toilet
Stunning views from up here though
We ride down and theres a couple of checkpoints we ride through
To say it was a dusty ride would be a slight understatement
Just before reaching the highway a small reservoir was encountered
Thanks Steve for showing me these very enjoyable tracks
