Well after years of riding dirt bikes I realized my skill sets have not improved and only gotten worse. My balance is getting crummy. Maybe time to register for Yoga??? Well instead of that I bought a trials bike as I have friends here that love it.
There's a large group of Thais and a small group of farangs that enjoy the sport here in Chiang Mai so good excuse to dive in.
There are various areas locally that are enjoyable on Trials bikes, from sections near Last Man Standing (or ATV trail if you're a MTBer),Huey Thung Thao,San Kampaeng ETC. where we can always head out for a blast.
In the beginning I thought things were going smoothly.
Then I began to see the light that I sucked.
The good news is that everyone else are very good riders, from Ex Factory Yamaha trials riders, Kawai-San.
On his brand new TRS 300
To Michel
On is Beta 290
We also have Adrian that started not long ago but as always with anything on two wheels he's a demon.
.
A couple other high end riders are John and Paul. John was great in trying to help me digest the basics of this sport.
Darn trying to embed some video I took but going to have to learn the software for that I guess.
We go out once or twice a week depending on schedules and weather. The good news is it's usually only a few hours instead of all day like on the enduro bikes.
There are also competitions put on. These are great spectator spots as you can see all the hard section up close.
