Trials in Chaiang Mai

Hi Guys, I'm new to this forum but must say I am impressed with the content so far.
I'm a trials rider from Australia and on my last visit to CM ran across a Pommie guy, his last name was Sampson, who told me that there was an active trials scene over there. I'm coming back in a weeks time for a couple of weeks, doing the usual sniffing around in preparation for impending retirement like so many others, and would love to catch up with anyone interested in having a chat or even a look at an event, if there is one scheduled. I set up a club back here 6 years ago that has over 100 active riders in it, probably because we went unaffiliated, and have been throwing my leg over trials bikes off and on for 40 years. I also ride a KLR 650 Dual sport adventure bike so am even keen on off road adventuring as well, but maybe not this trip.
Anyway, can't wait to get back over there and hopefully catch up with some like minded two wheeler types.

Ian, there's probably 6 of us that have trials bikes in Chiang Mai, do you already know Nung south of Hang Dong who competes at a pretty high level?

Hi Phil, thanks for getting back to me so quick. No, I don't know Nung as I have only visited CM once, in July this year, and still live in Australia. Only coming over for the X'mas break to revisit a mate from down Phitsanulok area and will be in CM from Dec 24 to Jan 1. Just seeing if there is anything likely to be goin on when I'm there.

Interested in Trial Motorcycles in Thailand

Hi Phil. I live in Bangkok, and I am very interested in Trial Motorcycles. Is there a Trial's club or any sort of association in Chiang Mai or other locations in Thailand? Also any motorcycle stores that specialize in selling Trial Motorcycles?
