Travels in and Out of Thailand to Laos, Check Before Going

Seems like the coup in Thailand may have semi shut down the border crossings for farangs to and from Laos, Nong Khai, for example.

Flying in and out is OK, but rather more expensive to take a bike along....

So, check it out before heading to a Lao border point.

Thanks for the info Mac - saw also that several Thai-Cambodia borders were closed. Not sure how long closing the borders will last though.
