Looks like this has sparked quite a lot of interest, we now have some of the adventure cyclists interested in attending too. 21-22nd January, 2014, we will get the exact location and schedule of events.

There was a big festival last week at 700yr stadium, loads of tribespeople turned out for a event by Billy Grahams son.

I think a versys would be ok....it will be dry pickup trails.

Havnt checked the map but probably 270km from Chiang Mai. Sleeping in Mae Sariang the night before would be a good staging post then a 3 hour ride to the festival the next day. I'll try find out if this has been held before.
