I received also a cheaper option for a trip to the northernmost border of Yunnan/Tibet.
The price is definetly better becouse doesn't involve Tibet permits/guide etc.
The quote x person is $1980. for all permits,driver licence, motorized guide .
not included hotels/food/gasoline,chance to choose your own.
But it needs a few riders together (3-4 more) to be possible,and so the cost could be even lower .The quote is from a well known/experienced chinese agency (i am not associated with).
We deal with them as a group and /or individually.
the Route is great!! no backtrack .covers 3000+km from Laos/China border and back!
