Last week I took my Classic to Sahapanich RE (on #107) for its 10,000 km service.
I was allowed to monitor and film the entire operation.
Khun Bank was the man.
Bike on stand at 9-26am.
Finished at 11-44am.
Engine oil drained.
Filters checked and cleaned.
New ring seals fitted.
Nuts tightened.
Air pressures checked.
Check and clean brakes.
Adjust and lubricate chain.
Seat off.
Tank off.
Think!
Crank to top dead centre.
Valve cover off.
Set feeler guage to 0.08mm.
Fastidiously clean whatever that is.
New engine oil.
New rubber seal.
Return and tension the cover.
Check and clean the spark plug.
Tension the plug.
Fit new air filter.
Re-attach the wiring.
Bike all done.
Test ride.
Good job Khun Bank.
See you at 15,000 kms.
I really enjoy my little Classic.
