Recently rode to Laos from Chiang Mai for a new visa. The last part of the ride I did along highway 211 which follow the Mekong. I ridden this road a few times but still enjoy it. It is as the signs say scenic.
Here's a few photos from the ride.
My first glympse of Laos.
One of the few up hills.
A proper look at Laos and the Mekong.
Time for an afternoon nap.
Crematorium where I stayed the night.
Misty morning.
The mist soon cleared.
Restaurant, this was new to me and came in handy for breakfast.
View while eating breakfast.
Man in a boat.
This was new to me as well.
Waterfall which flows in to the Mekong.
Cycle path that goes right to the border.
Selfie in the middle of the bridge.
Finally welcome to Laos.
