Hi all, I'm going to be picking my newly purchased Africa Twin up in Pattaya soon..... she's been stored by a buddy down in Laem Mae Phim so far and he reports she's running well but I want to give her the once over before bringing her home...... anyone have a workshop they would recommend for this bike?
Cheers.

I,d go to Joe or Herman in Chiang Mai, that way you won't end up having a 17 yr old Thai mechanic actually doing the work.

Yep will do once in CM Phil but I'm looking for a place in Pattaya to initially do a good full service before I bring her home...... do you know that guy Edy, he has/had a MX place over on the Darkside...... does he have a good spanner man?

Between Edy & Chris who are both there, they should be able to give it a good looking over.

If you are riding it home, check the manufacturing date on the tyres. If over than 4 years... replace. Ask me why I know to do this.... ever had a front tyre blow at 170? I have. Old rubber. Luckily it was on a car.

^ Yep, will certainly do this. The sellers blurb on BahtSold was "Africa Twin, 1995 model, New tires, service, green book, great bike. 46000 km" but of course I'll check.... cheers.
