I can't resist some Hongsa morning market photo's:
This is at about 0645am in the morning

From Hongsa, it was a 80km ride west and then north ride to Pakbeng to meet up with some friends.
For people who havn't done this stretch, its a fantastic piece of dirt then tarmac on a adventure bike, really makes you grin.
The ferry across the Mekong 10km west of Pakbeng is simple, there's some sand you have negotiate getting on and off the ferry, but that's the only issue.
