Who hasn't overfilled their engine oil with a header tank and not waiting long enough for the bike to get hot before correctly checking the level and adding too much?

Real pain, especially if you have a sump guard to get the sump drain plug out. Here's a neat, quick way to remove the excess.

Get a manual pump spray bottle, take the top off and put the pickup straw in the oil header tank and pump the oil into the open bottle, very easy.

Thanks to Ozz who just had this happen.

...or lay the bike on it's side like I do & let it drain out the filler hole

Some of the KTM's have 3 inline filters, I wonder how restrictive they would be laying the bike over trying to move the oil without oil pressure?

I've done it with the 450 EXC & the DR 650.
Don't know how the bigger more elaborate boutique bikes work.
