Not Perfect Buddha Shrines

We all see great Buddha Shrines put together at much expense but sometimes we see some that do not quite make expectations. This was prided in a restaurant in Oudom Xai, thoughtful but did not quite make the standard, although the hole in the umbrella was touching.

I think this is actually a ghost shrine, maybe for the house ghosts.
On special occasions the offerings for the ghosts are food like boiled chicken, a pillow, cigarette, alcohol, an umbrella or sword sometimes, quite complicated and interesting to witness.
