New Immigration Office Chiang Rai

Looks to be a winner. I have heard it's pretty much the same folks from the Mai Sai office


Chiang Mai is just not gettin the love from the folks in Bangkok

Certainly worlds apart from the dump here in Chiang Mai, although CM Immigration will (when?) be relocated to the government offices
out on Mae Rim Road.

Chiangmai Immigration does have a new building on the Canal Road near Huai Tung Tao but that appears to be administrative only (Region 5).

I actually managed to get a 90 day report done in 5 mins and about 15 mins last two visits to CM imm since they starting using the area behind the main building for Burmese and LoR matters.
I`ve also noticed a lot of new younger staff manning the desks and getting things done quick smart.

Hope it stays that way
