We dont seem to have a 4x4 or car / truck section here ?? I though there was from Matt and Johnnys trips..
Anyway.. This is still a concept but its a very real concept, which has gained a great reception and IMO likely see some variant of this going to market.
The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 diesel concept is amazing - Road & Track
This would amost certainly be Thai made with many of the rest of the Chev line.. And the 180bhp diesel would be under the 200bhp tax limit.
I know Thai trucks have some tax tweak which means we get the shitter rear suspension.. I read the malay spec versions of some models are superior because of that (is it independent rear over live axle ??) to qualify for the low 'truck' tax bracket they have to be the inferior setup anyway. So unsure how that relates to this Chev design, but its still a concept anyway at this stage, even if its a highly likely to see market concept.
Looks to me like that will put some pressure on the Ranger and Toyota clearly need to step up and do something more to the 10 year old Vigo hilux at this point.. Not just change the grill or bodykit, if they want to stay in any way current.
