The route 101, 3020, 3052, 3079, 1091
Total distance 179 km
A very late start today so an easy shortish track, I take the 101 out of town than about 25 km past Wiang Sa its a right onto the 3020
A very good surface to start with
I take a left that is paved until N18.35.235 E100.29.883 then turns to dirt
The Huai Mae Tha that flows into the Sa river
Now to explore some dirt
The end of the line for this track
A difficult crossing plus theres no track on the other side so its turn back time
I try a few tracks but they all turn to just farm access tracks
Back on the 3020
Another one of those burnt out trees
The road is getting damaged in places and the centre of the photo is where the asphalt was last trip but now its been washed away
Back to a better surface again now
Now over the peak and descending towards Ban Luang
Just before reaching Nan I look around Nong Ok Ru and lots of fishing rods here
Roast beef, roast potatoes, cauliflower, Yorkshire puddings and gravy at Tonys Place tonight for 260 Baht, my most expensive meal here and well worth it
