Riding towards Wiang Sa along the Wa and its brown everywhere
I manage to loop back to the 1243
A few up here to explore
Time to explore another new dirt track
Electricity is still being produced though
I had wrongly assumed that the flow from the Wa would be sufficient to keep the water level flowing over the weir
No water at all at the weir
At the dam
Here are three photos from a few years ago taken at the same spot showing what has been destroyed
This man is not impressed at all as his money is down, I guess from less fish
You used to be able to walk across the Wa river here in the low water season
I walk out to join him and its a bit of a muddy walk
This was a lovely spot before the dam was built but now is completely destroyed
These were working toilets a few years ago
Last time this was under water
The track that used to lead down to it was unused last time I tried and further on was flooded but today it looks used again
It looks like the Wa is a lot lower than in january
A nice dusty track to enjoy
