This track that I mapped three years ago had been planted over this year but we both made it to the top
Mostly dried out tracks today
This concrete bridge was new to here one year ago replacing a narrow old wooden one and I was looking for the tide mark to see how far the river rises in the wet season
We realised that the bridge is completely submerged during the wet season and you can see the rubbish in the surrounding trees showing the true height, I reckon it was at least 6 metres higher than todays level
Further upstream and I wonder if this bridge survived or has been replaced, last year was the first time that I have ever seen it here
We had to turn around on this track as part of it had been washed out
Too narrow to pass and we had to get off the track until they had passed
Two fun days riding with Martin, hopefully meet him again sometime
