Lots of rain; think 'waterfalls'.
So I took Russ McD and his wife Dawn out to Mork Fah waterfall today.
The usual snack at the excellent Pankled (according to owner, pronounced 'Pankrit') Coffee stop.
As usual, lots of colourful things to look at.
That yellow building in the background is new and deserved a closer look afterwards.
The road from Pankled into the waterfall is soon to present us all with a new bridge.
And also near the waterfall's ticket office.
New Thai license shown to the pretty lady and 20 baht entrance fee paid.
The pleasant walk to the waterfall ....
... which, predictably, was raging.
Then back to that yellow building at Pankled.
The pleasant and busy owner had never heard of 'roast lamb'.
Now he has.
He's also diversified a bit more.
So, in a few years time, we'll be able to enjoy a glass of red with our Tom Yum Goong.
We called in to the old Wat Ta Kham to inspect their 200 year old paintings ...
(No flash photography allowed).
... and their bee colony.
We noticed many side tracks between here and there which I'll investigate during the week.
Nam Tok Mork Fah never disappoints.
