Many and my perfect bike has 250cc.
My exeriances with Big Bike Renthal Chiang-Rai.
Actually there is none, because it is not possible to contact, find or reserve anything with this company. I wanted to book 2 CRFs for 3 weeks in february 2013 and was pretty sure to manage this purchase during the 2 days stay in Chiang-Rai, yesterday and today. But there is absolutly no chance to find an adress or map or anything else on their website or somewhere else. Only 2 telephone numbers with no answering all the time. We tried it at any daytime. Talking on the mailbox brought no success, also several emails weren´t answered. Every asked Tuktuk and Taxidriver said the same " Never heard about". I really couldn´t believe that and we´ve researched the website site by site very carefully. There is nothing, none, nought, zero. How can this company survive? For me, these guys are history and I never will try it again. No experiances are bad experiances! :mad:
 
Sorry to hear that Harry, I know the guy that has set that up and he works offshore, maybe he's away?
 
Have forwarded your message to their "Send Feedback" section on their website as that is normally a better way to get their attention than posting on a forum which they may or may not read. Lets wait and see what happens as there was an automated response that indicated:

Dear Harry,

Yes, I realize that you wanted to warn other members about your experiences with Big Bike Rental in Chiangrai and I think it is good that others on this forum know what they can expect.

On the other hand, I think it might also be good to let Big Bike Rental in Chiangrai know that people have had bad, or in your case no experiences at all due to their sloppy running of their business. Like I mentioned in my post, they might not read the RideAsia Forum, so they won't know that they lost a potential big client and probably a repeat client as you are running a tour business.

Hi all. Breathe a little.

As Ally said, the main dude that started the business works offshore and is unreachable at the moment. The guy who runs the place full time has landed in the hospital in bad shape in the last few days or so and can't do anything at the moment except try to stay alive. We hope he does. So, for the moment, I would guess the place is unavailable. Off-shore dude should be returning any day and I am sure he will put someone in place who can run things until sick dude returns, if he does.

The company is new and has settled, for now, in a new digs while they look for a longer term, larger place and that info will be posted up soon, now that they know they will be there for a while, anyway.

They have quite a few bikes and are getting new ones each month. The company is still getting their footing and intend to be around a long time. A hiccup or two as they do that isn't a crisis.

As for Tuk Tuk drivers, my wife has had a business in Chiang Rai for more than three years and I doubt you could find more than 2 drivers in this town that have heard of it or know where it is.

Well in my defense sir every thing goes through the web site right now so I can monitor what is going on. If you had clicked in the contact screen you would have seen contact and reservation. Simply and I say simply enter info I would have received a message from you. I am sorry for your bad experience. I hope I can do something to rectify this. I all so think if you new the trouble going on you would not say what you are saying but that is personal because what comes first in life is family not business. As for phone numbers they have been up dated with finding out my main guy was in hospital. The map like I said before was in the making. As for the Tuktuk well we have only been in this location for 2 months now. So I hope this puts a little insight in to what happed and again I am truly sorry.

It looks like, they have something to hideor escape. From police, goverment, tax, banks, pissed clients, cheated partners or angrry ex-women. Sorry for this clear words, but why is it neccesary for a legal registered proffesionell company to hide any contact possiblilities?

Well hello Harry. I only just found out he had some sort of heart problem but now is out of hospital and on bed rest for a couple of weeks so I to hope he gets well. I guess I could see your point but again just moved in and still trying to put things together. As for Mafia well I would know a little bit about that sense I work for one of the biggest companies in the world (Saipem)(Italian). Police no problems there. Government well the only problem there would be My gov would like me to pay Tax but I don't have to being a expat. Banks I don't need a bank sense all I have was paid for with cash. The only pissed off clients where you so far but then you never gave us a chance did you.Don't have or need a partner only the wife who I am very happy with. You say hide well the company was set up with the home address in Chiang Saen. We did not want that on the web site to all so prevent confusion as we where looking for location in Chiang Rai. I have taken what you have said as advise and made the changes.
My Question to you is would you like to take my most sincere apology and see if I can make it right with you or would you like to go on slamming not me but my wife. We have just started the company like I have said. I put to you what company has never made a misjudgment or a mistake I say none. I see multimillion dollar screw ups every other month. That is the cost of business. You just have to learn from them.
Well the ball is in your court I hope it turns out ok for both.
