I know its another stinkin survey but it will be very helpful from true motorcycle enthusiasts. Once you hit the ad you are finished and can close!

Thanks in Advance!

Don't you think it would be appropriate to introduce yourself properly if you want this to be taken seriously?

Motorcycle Survey

Absolutely, we are a group of Master students working this summer for one of the top motorcycle manufacturers. For our research we are trying to gather information from motorcycle enthusiasts, by giving us their absolutele honest opinion.

I did the survey. I think the bike options are a bit off target for this market. People here drives mid size tourers and dual sport bikes besides the scooters.

Did you see the Travel Enduro section? There you have mid sized touring and dual sport!

Thank you for completing the survey!

What is the incentive for people participating in the survey?

To be apart of some important research for one of the major motorcycle companies! Every answer helps us get a better picture of each market by country!

If a commercial manufacturer wants input from end users to improve their sales they should consider offering an incentive for the people who participate.
Why should customers consider to share their knowledge for free?

We are thinking that Motorcycle riders would like to share their input on their preferences. We don't believe an incentive is needed for people to tell us their opinions on something that could help the motorcycle community as a whole.

You are not working to "help the motorcycle community as a whole" but you are studying consumer behavior for your employer/client.
You could consider offering the respondent a freebie, a non monetary incentive, one that actually would promote your employer/client's products?!
But that again requires "out of the box" thinking.
Anyway good luck with the survey, I see no incentive to help your employer/client with my completion of it!

Oh and welcome to the world of "bikers" where we freely speak our mind!

I'm sorry you were looking for a freebie to help, but that is not something we are willing to offer. We are not trying to promote any product one way or the other. The point of this survey is to get an unbiased opinion on certain topics within the motorcycle world. With having unbiased opinions would be defeated by then offering a promotional tool.

I encourage free speech! The more feedback I can get the better. Thank you

Done the survey Justin no incentive need from this end mate good luck hope the survey works out

I took the survey mostly because I'm not a typical buyer and if I can in some small way increase the area of the market that interests me, it's worth it.

Clearly a ducati scrambler survey... if you pick the scrambler it asks why you picked it, if you pick another one it asks why you didn't pick it.

Justin - Can you explain why there are loaded questions regarding the Ducati Scrambler?

I think we all need to look at the last part of the survey >>>> Ducati Cafe ???? IMO its all about Ducati and opening some sort of Ducati Style Cafe in what country i dont know?

Yeah, I thought you are asking the wrong people here because most of us live in Thailand and there is already a Scrambler cafe here, the one pictured in the photograph in the survey!

Thank you! Will help us out, please spread the word if possible!

We chose to ask this question after you have already made your first decision and cannot go back! Of course it's a specific question, but we needed this information. We eliminated the chance to go back for this specific reason, so you are unaware of who we are working for before you make your decisions. We understand you have the café in Thailand! It's also interesting for us to get feedback from individuals from Thailand, if they agree or not with the concept. We are also asking this survey from individuals all over the world, in areas without the café! Thanks again for participating! Do you have any other feedback or suggestions for the Scrambler?

What is your ideal price point for strategic commercial information?
Freebies? Grow peanuts and get monkeys!
And the funny thing is, Ducati is paying a bundle for nonsense research, dream on! :alarm

I want Ducati to open a cafe in the North of Thailand i desperately need to go unshaven and wear a jacket splattered with imitation dirt so i can fit "in" with the in crowd ..hairy biker

I'm sorry you feel that way.

But the Question was directed to Prince666.

Would such a Scrambler café welcome both Triumph and Ducati scramblers? If so, I can blend in on a Suzuki VanVan too?!

Phwooor .....getting a bit controversial arnt we dear , this heading for't dungeon ?

What would be your ideal price point? Would you consider a lower cc in order to lower the price? 400-500cc?

Hi Justin
with a price of about $8500 for the Ducati Scrambler, country like Thailand and china who has a 100% import tax and more it just makes the bike to expensive to consider IMO, in order for the bike to be sold at a market price within these country Ducati needs to consider having.

!. The bike needs to be manufactured/assemble with in that country.....

Ducati now does this in Thailand with some model and would benefit buyers from China as the import duty on bike from Thailand to China is a lot less ???
Target price ?? between 210,000 to 250,000 B I think people in Thailand would consider a fair price

A small CC with a lower price would be a nice option for people to consider
