Mae Ngat Resevoir - Floating guest houses


An hour's drive north of Chiang Mai & you can be on the Mae Ngat reservoir in a floating GH. The water is clean and deep which makes for great swimming and canoeing, all the GH platforms have canoes.


Longtail is 400 Bht return for the boat, here arriving at the Anjanwich Floating GH, high season 700 Bht

Generators come on about 9pm in the fan rooms. It does really cool off at night being on a huge expanse of water, aircon not needed.
