Total distance 510 km

A cold start at 8 am this morning and once up in the hills along the 105 heading towards Tak it really got cold, but I was well insulated in preparation for it and in no discomfort

A well laden KLX

Not many photo stops today as its a tiring long ride on a trail bike.
500+ km day trips are not my thing nowadays

I found a couple of different roads on the way down and rode on the other side of this range for a change

This reservoir is usually a lot fuller than this right now, going by that it will be completely dried up on my return trip in a few months time





In Kanchanaburi and a shot of the river Kwai.
I check in at Sugarcane guesthouse for 150 Baht



A spicy moo hunglay and rice for 40 Baht at the Northern Thai restaurant

No plans to this time Phil, if I ride back this way in late may I might go up there to see if that old temple is out of the water as I have always wanted to see it
