A bit of shade for a break as its getting rather warm during the daytime now
Now that I am running the lower gearing of the KLX 125 I am staying in top gear a lot on these open flat tracks and fuel consumption is actually better then before.
I filled up on Saturday morning and did Saturdays, sundays and todays trip all on the same tankful, the bike finally went on to reserve this afternoon after doing 236 km from full, that's over 40 kpl on mixed but mainly offroad riding
That girl has got a job for life if she is watering the entire field by hosepipe

The afternoon comes to an abrupt end when my tyre suddenly very quickly deflates, an inch long but thick nail was the culprit.
Unlike my previous puncture where I rode it for a few km on dirt then a few km on asphalt and the tyre stayed on the rim, today it just came off
Initially the guy was going to patch it but then found this had happened
I have never had the misfortune of this happening before, I carry a spare front tube but as he could quickly get a spare in town I decided to have that put in, 180 Baht for the tube and labour.
It pays to keep an eye on them though, he tightened the spindle nut and found the wheel wouldn't go round freely so loosened it off and told me it was okay.
I looked on the floor and found the spacer that he had misplaced so now I have the added bonus of the nut being properly tightened plus the wheel going around smoothly
