Down on the Moei river
I check how deep it is then follow the truck through the water
The water is cold and a fairly fast current
I guess crossing over into Burma would be easy with a 4WD
My next track is a steep rocky one to start with
Its a better surface higher up but the track that the ESRI showed as going to the Moei river turned into a single walking track
A different turning brings me down to this better lower altitude track
I can see a much better track ahead
The problem was the Moei river was before the good track, I could see bikes over in Burma riding a lot faster along it than I could on the rough bumpy track that I was on
I saw a couple of places where crossings were made
This track was popular with walkers
A bit dusty following a truck
Jaffna chicken curry tonight at Sara's Takeaway, this is a north Sri Lankan dish that Robinson asked me if I would like to try.
It was delicious, 150 Baht
