Easy bike parking outside the room although not covered.

B500/ night Low season. Biker friendly bar next door, restaurants available just across the main road.

Since my usual choice was closed for renovation work (the Piya GH overlooking the lake) gave the Rom Tai a shot, good clean rooms and plenty of off road parking for 500 baht.

I always stay there.
Nice people who own it, secure 'out of sight' parking in the shade.
Many rooms.
Easy walk to everything.
And good cabins over the lake at the back.

Sarmmork Guest House

And just around the back of the lake, is a brand new one, called the Sarmmork Guest House. Only three bungalows, but set in a nice secluded garden. Safe parking for the bikes too.
Small rooms, but spotless. I think it was about Bht 500 a night.

Just a heads up... the walk in price for Mountain Inn about 3 weeks ago was 800 baht.

Gave the Friend GH in MHS a try as its got the best location in MHS, on the lake and next to the Salaween River Restaurant ... Co-ords:
