I need to test if the crankcases on my KDX are holding pressure.
The only way to do it is by pumping about 6-7psi of air into it and seeing if it holds or if it doesn`t work out where it`s losing it by spraying soapy water on the engine joins and look for bubbles..
Like this..
So i have most of the bits for pumping air into the intake made up from PVC and sealed with thread tape and silicone but no pump yet.A push bike hand pump or something similar would suffice.
I still need need a rubber plug for the exhaust.
An expansion plug like this would be preferable about 45mm in diameter..
Mikuni pressure test kit..
Or even a 45mm rubber plug would probably work, which i`ve had no luck in finding around Chiang Mai so far.
I also could use another 18mm diameter piece of rubber too.
Also some sort of hand pump like in the vid with a gauge that doesn`t go anymore than about 15-20psi for better accuracy.
Anyone got any ideas on where to find these around Chiang Mai?
