Looks like a very fun Laos ride in rainy season, interesting that the rivers were too high already, great photo's as usual.

Don, your superb images almost stand alone but I believe (for what it's worth) minimal commentary would enhance your work;
even if it's only location info.
I believe I don't know many of those places but I'd like to.

What was he doing? Towing something? or fishing the Mekong? It must be the lake NE of Vientiane?

These guys dive down with air powered chain saws, cut the trees then lift them with the crane!!

A bit hazardous to say the least.
