Lake Nong Fa - Is there a way out to the north or west ?

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone is aware of a way north or west out from Lake Nong Fa.. It would be nice if possible not to back track south.

Looked on Google Earth but the images are from 2001 / 2002 for Dong Amphan, so not very reliable.. It does look like there are some villages to the north a bit and agriculture going on along the mountains.

As far as I know this not possible and you will have to return the same way you got there. However, I have not been there for some time so things may have changed. There is a logging track to the west but this stops near the Xe Kaman river and the track is now quite overgrown and probably impassable except for hikers.

This incredible trip
will be rewarding without struggling along the track that leads west. I turned around after hurdleing too many logs on the track,which would arrive at an impassable river crossing.
