Klx fuel injection

Does any body have information on the fuel injection system on a 2014 Klx 250.
the fuel filter and pump need servicing ?
use a additive in the petrol ?
use the high octane fuel is best ?
can the pump be bypass if not working ?
and so on..
any information would be great ..

Hi Dave. Three friends from Bandung on 250s dropped by at our place in Kuta, Lombok. Where available they always used high octane Pertamax. If they had to use roadside fuel they added octane tablets. (something I'd never heard of).
One of them (Colin) had a lot of trouble starting his bike. At first it appeared to be dirty fuel. Changed fuel, problem fixed but only for a hour or so. Eventually problem was traced to a faulty fuel pump which had to be replaced as it could not be serviced. Whether or not that is the case I don't know. The bike was still under warranty so Colin was not bothered. I'd be surprised if the pump could be by-passed.

thanks for the reply , I will look into it.
i will keep on using high octane fuel and injection cleaner now and again. See how I go with that.
bike going well so far, do u know anything about the EJK ? I'm using 1 of theses also but I need to set up when I get a chance to ride more in October .
