We flew into Chiang Mai last week without real planning, just by reading ride reports from RideAsia. We rented CRF's from CP and headed out.
We decided that we will do a mini MHS loop, riding into Pai, MHS and Khun Yuem. In all, the ride, scenery, and choice of bikes was excellent.
The highlight of our journey was however the road from Khun Yuem to CM, via Mai Cheam and Doi Ithanon. It is breathtakingly beautiful. We rode in the wet for an hour before the clouds broke, and we were in awe of what we saw....
