- Chang Jiang 750 Sidecar
The mighty Old Iron Chang Jiang 750 with Sidecar is on its way to Lhasa.
We start in Kathmandu and go with the Jeep to the border. In Zhengmu (Tbet) the Sidecars are waiting for us. We take the time to aclimatise and get along with the Sidecars on the short drive up to Nyalam. From there we want to go to the west along the himalyan range direction Kailash and then back approching Everest Base Camp. Sakya and the nearby Sandunes with the remote old castles. Tomb Raider
yeah yeah. Not to mention all these over 4.500 mtr passes and lakes. Depends on the group and ability we want to go up to Namtso lake and finally to Lhasa.
Since we are all foreigners, permits for Tbet need to be arranged in advance, so if you are interested in, please reply soon to yangtsepete@yahoo.de chinese driving license will be arranged by agent. Sidecar experiance would help to get along with these old machines.
