One of the comments from that article that I totally agree with. I never understand why these second rate bikes bother, 99.9% of the time they don't stand a chance of getting on the podium never mind a win. I use to watch motogp religiously but now it's crap. Moto2&3 are excellent exhibitions of racing and then comes motogp droooooone!!!!!
lets change the rules, get rid of the honda/Yamaha factory show, even the field out and see who's the best racer. Or even better give them all a choice between the factory Honda or Yamaha. And if your a rookie start them off on the Ducati so they can sit at the back and learn the ropes for 10 seasons!
 
^ seems to be a gap in the riders ability too John with the likes of Rossi struggling on full factory equipment.

Gone are the days of Rainey,Doohan,Lawson,Shwantz,Gardner and co. fighting it out on the lightweight-agile 500`s.
