On Saturday, Dec 14, I went to my local Honda dealer for a small part that vibrated off, just a not/bolt, really, and was told it had to be ordered from Bangkok.
I'm used to that but this time it took "ten day". Ah well, no biggie, I can ride w/out it. But then the friendly parts guy pointed out that they will close for Christmas and New Year, and reopen on the 6th of January!
Okay, the holidays are coming up and all, but waiting for a part for three weeks is a joke!
Fortunately it is not essential but if it were I'd be quite disappointed.
If someone in Bangkok could get that part and mail it, it could be here in three days.
Ah well, TIT.
