Headed to Tokyo Looking for a good place to get motorcycle gear

Hey all,

I am headed to the Tokyo area and thought i MIGHT GET SOME MOTORCYCLE Gear there since it is pretty spendy here in Thailand. Specifically Good Boots.

Any notions on if there is much of a savings there vs Back in the States? Any leads on good shops would be much appreciated.

Probably too late for you (I just noticed this) Japan is not the place to get boots but you may find it enjoyable to visit one of the big motorcycle accessory shops. Riders Stand, Ricoland and Naps are three big chains with shops around Tokyo. Just Google or search Google maps.

On my last two motorcycle rides in Japan I stopped at numerous shops and accessory stores. The only "deal" I found was in the discount bin in Tokoyo at one of the shops (there were several in the downtown area), and that was a pair of XL gloves (didn't sell because not many Japanese riders need XL sized gloves). Never found a deal on boots. or helmets. I suspect you'll see close to the same prices for imported gear in Thailand.
