Grant, Frank, Jonny - Chaing Mai - R 1150 - Chiang Dao day loop

This is one of the best day loops out of Chiang Mai, 265km.

Out of Chiang Mai, take R 118 NE to the junction of R 1150. Hang a left onto R 1150, fill up with fuel at the PTT in Phrao, then continue westwards on R 1150 to Chiang Dao.

Doing this loop anti-clockwise, the Chiang Dao Nest near the Chiang Dao Cave makes a perfect lunch stop


This is Chiang Dao Nest "1" that does the good Thai food, go to CDN "2" for western food 200 meters further on
