Just after the rain
Taken from the viewpoint on the unmade section of the 1230 where they had no rain at all
Heading towards the unmade section of the 1230 from the 118 and it started pissing down, I soon got soaked riding through it
A short dead end dirt track I explored
Its sunday so lots of Thais out fishing today
A lovely sunny start as I turn off the 118 onto the 3005
Before reaching the end of the 1230 I take a left onto a dirt track I had not noticed before
It only goes 200 metres before turning to single track with a concrete path on the steep sections
This was the sign at the turning and I mistakenly thought it said only 1km to the village
Finally about 5 km later I reach it
Once I saw this I thought possibly there was another wider track out but there wasn't, anything going in or out is by motorbike.
Just after I left the village I felt the back end going funny and stopped to look then saw I had a puncture, rather than waste valuable time going back to the village I rode on as quickly as I could.
This was doubly annoying as there was a track going off my one to the north and I was hoping to explore that one on the way back but it wasn't to be
I didn't want to abandon the bike in the woods as I might not ever see it again, if I could ride to the main road getting it home was easy.
As it was the tyre and the tube stayed on and I made it back to the 1230, a 2 km ride to the 1229 turning and I got the tube replaced with a new one

Indian chicken curry and 2 portions of brown rice at Kanjana 80 Baht (£1.60)
