Is this one of the sexiest 250F enduro machines you have ever seen or what?! It's the new 2012 Gas Gas EC250 thumper which runs a Yamaha engine in a Gas Gas chassis, suspension and details package. Here's the PR from Gas Gas Australia:
Gas Gas has updated the EC250 4T for 2012 and is keen to capture some of the 250cc four-stroke market. 2012 will see Gas Gas using the same (latest) engine as Yamaha, updated from the 2006 Yamaha engine that was used in their previous model. The 2012 EC250 4T will be a value-packed 250 with a high specification consisting of:
Hydraulic Clutch
Magura clutch Master Cylinder
Ohlins 888 shock and new rear linkage
Marzocchi 48mm Twin Chamber forks
Metzeler MCE tyres
Galfer wave disc
Pro Grip race grips
Weight 110kg

Australian distributor Solo Imports has also kept pricing to a minimum with retail pricing of just $10,699 plus dealer charges, making it one of the best value-for-money enduro bikes on the market. Demand in overseas markets for the 2012 Gas Gas range has been high, so Australia will be limited in the number of bikes that will be available, so anyone that wants a great 250F will need to contact their dealer ASAP.
