First attempt at writing a guide

Hello all,

I'm brand new here, but I thought I'd join up to meet some like-minded people and also to share my first motorbike trip guide. It's a really beautiful 5-day ride from Hanoi to Sapa.

My partner and I were lucky enough to meet a Hanoi local when he stopped and helped fix our flat tyre on the Ho Chi Minh road. He was a wealth of knowledge and came up with this route.

I'd love to know what you all think of it, and I'd be extremely happy if anyone uses it and reports back on their experience.

Great report. Thanks. I did the trip the other way, Sapa to Hanoi, but with some differences, six years ago. I have fond memories of it.

I'm sure there are hundreds of amazing side roads and alternatives. With the luxury of time we'd have taken even longer to do the trip!
