OK GUYS,, HERE IS FIRST AID KIT'S ITEMS AND MY WIFE MADE EVEN 9 PAGE (A-4 size) List of all meds (Posted) and Summary of Using.

AND THEN
A number of old first aid techniques have fallen out of favor. Medical research supports the following warnings:
• Do NOT cut and suck. Cutting into the bite site can damage underlying organs, increase the risk of infection, and does not result in venom removal.
• Do NOT wash the bitten or stung area. The type of snake involved may be identified by the detection of venom on the skin.
• Do NOT use ice. Ice does not deactivate the venom and can cause frostbite .
• Do NOT use electric shocks. The shocks are not effective and could cause burns or electrical problems to the heart.
• Do NOT use alcohol. Alcohol may deaden the pain, but it also makes the local blood vessels bigger, which can increase venom absorption. It’s better if you take nothing before going to the hospital.
• Do NOT use tourniquets or constriction bands. These have not been proven effective, may cause increased tissue damage, and could cost the victim a limb.
• Do NOT use herbal remedies

SO HERE They are and Price is with out mail fee

Marco - sounds perfect, thanks so much to your wife & yourself for putting this medical kit together.

I'll order one, i'll pm you for bank transfer details.

Phil

ALSO Guys & Girls

When you going to BUY medication in any Pharmacy in THAILAND and if those medications are very important medication either your illness or medication, PLEASE LOOK\CHECK EXPIRE DATE BEFORE YOU GET THEM as unfortunately in some many place pharmacist will sell medications what has already EXPIRED OR IS FEW DAYS\WEEKS ABOUT TO EXPIRE,, as SO MANY MEDICAL Companies have they OWN policy what we comply as then any medication is about to expire we do take those away from the self's and return to company and get replacement for those. MEDICINE IMPORTING COMPANIES HAVE EXPIRE RETURNING POLICY FROM LICENSED PHARMACY TO SELLING MEDICINE IMPORTING OR MADE COMPANY BETWEEN 1Month, 3 month and few companies even have 6month returning Policy, as WE get sale person calls every week where they asking IF we have returning medicines and FULL LICENSED Pharmacy like us, those are included for our contract between us and companies.

Marco,

A heartfelt thanks heaps to both you and your wife. For most of us looking to put together an emergency kit to pack on the bikes and armed with no knowledge you've done a great service by offering this to riders.

I just updated the meds in my medical kit and it cost me over 700 baht and your kit easily has three times as much stuff as mine, a great value.

I can only hope that people reward your generosity of posting the kits contents with orders through you rather than acquiring the meds on their own. Your footwork and sharing e3ducation is of great value and I hope people respect this point. Its much the same as GPS maps. We can all get pirated copies if we look hard enough but lets give credit where credit is due and pay for the efforts others have given by patronizing those that have put in the efforts. Let me know banking info so I can get my kit.

By the way any idea of the approximate size of the packed kit bag?

PLEASE LOOK\CHECK EXPIRE DATE BEFORE YOU GET THEM

I've been told that U.S D.O.D will use numerous medications that are 2 years out of date, their reasoning is all that actually happens is that they lose some of their potency, anyone else heard this?

Marco - will the medical kit come in it's own bag?

Hi Phil

NOT in this point as far we have NOT found anything what suite Water tight (NOT splash approved) and size what is correct, not too small(tight) and not too large and have away to tight it up by it self for fast usage IF needed.

"BT"

Size is still under fit packing as there is many medical items and must be packed in correct way that they fit and be very useful for urgent usage,,,

as this is NEW field for us, we are doing every single methods to make this perfect and will NOT just do selling, selling, as my back round and work has been Safety last 20yrs, i want to do it correct way and that unfortunately means time consuming from the start BUT when we have all UP & Packed, pictorial will be made with and with out first aid Bag.

i was consulting my wife this morning and she estimate (NOT confirmed yet) that whole Fist aid medicals weight might be 500g, BUT we will do exact weight with picture as all are ready to start delivery and in our SELF'S as well, as this point, as we have several high schools medical first aid kits to be supplied and they order is as normal a lot of med's and we are waiting to fill US up by mid next week. :(

Very Good Morning Every one

And here is something what EVERY PERSON IN THE WORLD realize as long one need medication..

Pharmaceutical crime

The dangers of counterfeit medical products

Counterfeit products are harmful and can even be fatal.

Fake medicines range from useless to highly dangerous. They often contain the wrong level of active ingredient – too little, too much or none at all – or an active ingredient intended for a different purpose. In some cases, fake medicines have been found to contain highly toxic substances such as rat poison. In all these scenarios, the person taking the counterfeit medicine is putting their health, even their life, at risk.

One can easily be deceived by counterfeit medicines: they are often packaged to a high standard with fake pills that look identical to the genuine ones. Sometimes a laboratory test is the only way to identify the difference.

The extent of the problem

Counterfeit medicine is now a truly global phenomenon, and all countries of the world are affected as source, transit or destination points.

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that up to 1% of medicines available in the developed world are likely to be counterfeit. This figure rises to 10% globally, but in some areas of Asia, Africa and Latin America counterfeit goods can form up to 30% of the market.

Counterfeiting applies not only to 'lifestyle' medicines, including erectile dysfunction and weight loss medicines, but also to 'lifesaving medicines' including those used to treat cancer, heart disease and other serious illnesses.

And it's not just medicines. Fake medical devices also pose a risk. The term 'medical device' covers a wide range of healthcare products from contact lenses to condoms; syringes to surgical instruments; and wheelchairs to radiotherapy machines.

Risks of buying medicines over the Internet

More and more people are buying medicines and medical devices over the Internet, through online pharmacies and auction sites. Unfortunately, a large number of these Internet sites are unauthorized, unregulated and trade in illicit or sub-standard products.

If an online supplier conceals its physical address, this is a warning sign that their products could be dangerous – the WHO estimates that 50% of medicines available from such websites are counterfeit.

In particular, buying prescription-only medicines from unauthorized or dubious sources significantly increases the risk of getting substandard or fake products. It is important to consult a healthcare professional for prescription-only medicines and to obtain the medicines from a regulated source.

Buying medicines online may seem cheaper, quicker and more convenient than going through your doctor and high street pharmacy, but the dangers outweigh the benefits by far. Don't take the risk. :MG :kboom

All of this IS from INTERPOL web page where Law enforce is fighting agains people who wanna make money out of the people who are still ALIVE at least loner enough to pay to them for illegal medications...

Looks good. This kit gives good peace of mind and practical too. Though if you get bit by a snake your best hope might be that it's a dry bite (no venom), as 25% of cobra bites are, or you get to a hospital within 15 minutes to 1 hour after the bite, depending on various sources.

I notice you use calamine as the 'insect bite' remedy. Calamine has mixed reviews for efficacy, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calamine, but I guess it is cheaper than a cortisone-based cream. I used such a cortisone cream to combat a poisonous plant in the Alocasia family ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alocasia ) --'palm plant'--that irritated my hand when I broke a leaf in two (the juice from these 'palm' plants irritates the skin). But these creams are hard to get in that sometimes you need a prescription, and perhaps expensive, so calamine might be a good substitute for 'first aid'.

Best of luck in providing a public service with this kit.

I've received my medical kit (s) from Marco today, took 2 days in the mail. It looks great covers every reasonable eventually you may run in to.

Marco - i need one more medical kit for Kevin.

Send it to me and I'll hold it for him for when he's finished his stint flying the Airbus 380. That reminds me funny talking to him about how as the pilot he still gets searched at airport security for sharp objects (belt and shoes off etc...) & then he tells me that he has an axe in the cockpit! - quite ironic.

PM me your bank details and i'll hold it here for him, thanks Marco.

BUT IN THE FUTURE,,, WE DO NOT RUN OUT ANY OF STUFF as what keeping me busy is design work for our new Pharmacy building and this will take about 1-2years now, just to be honest, as we planning something out of ordinary and i will bring European combined with USA style Pharmaceutical business in here

and we are going to be inspected :lost by Government Accredited pharmacy as we are going to be FIRST Accredited Pharmacy out side Ubon Town area and we are 40Km away from town, but that is still ongoing business and i would say with in 5mths job,, maybe take longer as all issues in Government will take time. :deal :deal :deal :deal :deal :deal

Hi Chris

Best way is to give be the date when you wanted and i can sent it to Riders Corner where it can wait for you...

that is best place in CM and so popular and i send to almost every customer to there and waiting them...One of the most secured place to keep items.

and total price is 1080thb including postal box and fee,,,
